Description
I am 17 years old and currently in my last year of school, studying for my A levels. I am studying biology, chemistry and physics and hope to go to university to study medicine next September.Interests
I enjoy horse riding and have weekly lessons at my local stables. I love music, my favourite band are Muse, Green Day, Radiohead, Panic! At the Disco, Oasis, Pendulum, The Prodidgy and My Chemical Romance. I often go to see live music and go to Leeds/Reading Music Festival every year. I like making my own music as well and play the guitar and the piano. My favourite tv programmes are The Vampire Diaries, Downton Abbey, Bones and Spooks. In my spare time, I also enjoy playing around with computers and have built my own desktop pc.App Preferences
My favourite games are Angry Birds, Glow Doodle Snake, Doodle Jump, Hedgehog Adventures and Open Valve. I like games that are easy to pick up and play when I have a few spare minutes, for example during my twice daily bus journey. I like games that are simple to understand and play. I don't like games that take too long to load, crash a lot or are jittery when playing.App Review ( 983 Reads, 16 In Last 14 Days )
Playability 8 / 10
The controls are very effective, simply swipe to cut up the zombies and prevent them reaching the dojo. It is an easy game to learn and the in game instructions help you along the way. The controls are not at all adjustable but there is no need for them to be. The controls of the game are extremely responsive. This is a single player game, with the ability to connect with Game Centre or Open Feint for achievements and leaderboards.
Graphics 6 / 10
The graphics are quite smooth, there is no juddering as the zombies move around or are killed. The graphics are very effective for the simplicity of this game, with many different types of zombie and changes in the appearance of the dojo when it is damaged. There aren't really any other graphics that could be added to this game. The transition from level to level is smooth and simple. Occasionally, some of the graphics look a little jagged.
Sound 7 / 10
The music and sound effects are appropriate and well recorded for this game. The balance between the music and sound effects is great, however you only have the option to turn them both off - you can't turn off one or the other. The sound is not required, so you can turn it off if you wish. The quality of both the sound and the background music is very good.
Longevity 8 / 10
There are many levels in this game and also many achievements to collect, so there is a lot to do. As there are achievements to collect, the player is very likely to replay in order to collect as many as possible and also to beat the high scores in Game Centre and Open Feint. The game is quite addictive, especially as you can collect coins to upgrade your dojo for more protection against the zombies. Different types of zombie appear throughout the levels that provide an element of surprise.
Value 7 / 10
The game is good value for the number of levels available and the entertainment it provides.
Overall 8 / 10
A great game that is really fun to play and could provide hours of entertainment. Definitely worth purchasing.
